TERMS OF INSTRUCTION
EFFECTIVE DATE: SEPTEMBER 30, 2026
By scheduling, purchasing, or participating in a Computer Safety Pro class, the student acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.
Educational Service Only. Computer Safety Pro provides private educational instruction concerning Microsoft Windows computer safety, system information, and built-in Windows tools. The service is educational in nature. It is not computer repair, technical support, managed security, cybersecurity consulting, incident response, digital forensics, malware removal, penetration testing, or professional security certification.
No Diagnosis or Security Assessment. The instructor does not diagnose the student's computer and does not determine or certify whether a computer is safe, secure, infected, compromised, malware-free, or otherwise free from technical or security problems. The instructor may explain the general purpose of Windows tools, terminology, commands, fields, and information as part of the educational class.
Student Controls the Computer. The student remains in physical and operational control of the student's computer at all times. Computer Safety Pro does not remotely access or control the student's computer, request passwords or authentication codes, install software, remove software, modify files, change system configurations, or perform repairs or remediation.
Student Participation and Decisions. The student voluntarily performs any Windows checks demonstrated during the class and remains responsible for deciding whether to perform them. The student remains responsible for all decisions, actions, configurations, files, software, accounts, backups, security practices, and use of the student's computer.
No Guarantee. Computer systems and cybersecurity threats are complex and constantly changing. No educational class, Windows tool, security product, instructor, or other resource can guarantee that every problem, vulnerability, unauthorized activity, malware infection, or future security incident will be identified or prevented. Computer Safety Pro makes no representation or warranty that participation in a class will make a computer secure or prevent future problems.
Sensitive Information. Students should not disclose passwords, authentication codes, financial information, private encryption keys, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive credentials during a class. If sensitive information appears on the student's screen, the student is responsible for concealing it before sharing or discussing that information.
Referral for Technical Problems. If a situation appears to require diagnosis, repair, malware removal, incident response, forensic examination, or other individualized technical services, the instructor may recommend that the student discontinue the educational exercise and consult an appropriate third-party computer repair, cybersecurity, or technical-support provider. Any third-party provider is independent of Computer Safety Pro, and the student is responsible for selecting and engaging that provider.
Google Meet and Recording. Classes may be conducted using Google Meet or another mutually agreed communications platform. Computer Safety Pro is not responsible for the operation, availability, privacy practices, or security of third-party communications services. Neither party may record a class without the prior express consent of both parties.
No Professional Reliance. Information provided during a class is intended for general educational purposes and should not be treated as a guarantee, certification, forensic conclusion, or substitute for individualized professional technical or cybersecurity services.
Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Computer Safety Pro's total liability arising from a class or these Terms shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the student for the class giving rise to the claim. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Computer Safety Pro shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of access, loss of revenue, business interruption, or damages resulting from subsequent cybersecurity incidents. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude or limit.
Entire Agreement and Severability. These Terms constitute the agreement governing the instructional service unless the parties expressly agree otherwise in writing. If any provision is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Electronic Acceptance. The student may accept these Terms electronically. By replying AGREE to an email containing or linking to these Terms, the student confirms that the student has received, read, understood, and agreed to these Terms before participating in the class.
